Says Lane, "I'm not going trick-or-treating this year." Okay, so he's getting older, no biggie. But, could he really pass up all that candy? I think not. He played two games just before and then was geared up to go! Matt dressed as bacon for school last Friday, Lane was happy to be able to use the costume for Sunday's event. And cute bacon he was. :)
Ashlyn freaked out by the 1st treators that came to our door, we were thinking that there was going to be no way she would be engaged in the event. Much to our surprise, she was quite the spirited bunny! Her first 5 houses she walked all the way into each ready for dinner or something. Then "Next house" for "Tick or teat" then "Tank you" and finally "Good night." Her bucket was full by the end. Amazing.
The evening's weather dry, we had a great Halloween! Good work, Ashlyn and Lane!
