April

Hello from our family!  With spring's arrival, we have some new, fun changes.  Lane is actively involved in baseball and his busy social life.  He will be turning 11 April 28, and that will require a fun party with all of his friends.  He is becoming so much smarter and more mature by the minute.  We have a fun time together!  Ashlyn, already 8 months, is very active as well.  She loves to sit up and play, although she prefers to stand while hanging on to something.  She is such a good eater, drinking several bottles a day and eating cereal, fruit, veggies, crackers, etc.  I can't keep her full as she is a "snacker" like her brother.  Two weeks ago we moved her crib into her own room and adopted the "Pick up/Put down" sleeping method to get her to sleep through the night.  It has been magical, and I highly recommend other Baby Whisperer methods.  Both kids are so cute.  I just enjoy every minute with them.  

Matt is working harder than ever.  Almost at the end of his first year at Mt. View Middle School, he is excited about returning there next year.  He just purchased his first set of new golf clubs ever, which means he'll need to keep them polished for his summer tour.  He is the perfect father; Ashlyn already has him wrapped around her finger.  :)

I am loving being back at work.  I enjoy my students this year as well as my fellow colleagues.  Surprisingly, the paperwork has been manageable so far.  It's tough, but I'm doing my best at trying to get back into the running thing.  It will be easier with longer days and summer time.  Yeah, bring on summer--only 9 more weeks of school!!
