Lane is so busy these days! With school and homework--endless math problems--basketball and friends, we're lucky to get down time with him. He is growing and maturing so fast, it's sickening. At 10 years old, I try my best to savor his youth before those teenage years creep up on us. I swear with his hood up and ipod in his ears, he ever-so resembles those teenagers that I see daily.
He's a pretty fun kid-- we play lots of basketball together, and at 5' 2", he can almost block my shot. And, he's got quite a shot himself. We also enjoy boardgames, drawing, downloading music and watching movies. Good times.
Ashlyn is also changing so fast. She is already 5 months, and quite a handful. She works her legs by trying to stand, and when she's angry, she arches her back and straightens out her legs, throwing quite a fit, which makes it rather difficult to pick her up or calm her. She already has two teeth--the 2nd one just appeared this weekend.
A funny girl. She loves to dance around the house, watch and touch the dogs, and giggle like crazy when her daddy tickles her ribs. Her squeal and voice are often heard throughout the house when she's playing.
