Matthew enjoyed celebrating his 33rd birthday this past weekend. He spent time with friends at the Montana v. PSU football game, and we celebrated with dinner and gifts. I think he enjoyed himself and hopes to continue celebrating all week long. :)Lane is growing up so fast, I've recently realized. He was especially interested in the past election, and has many various questions about life these days. Almost 5' 2" and over 90 lbs., he made the 5th grade basketball team and really likes it. Thankfully, he still enjoys cartoons and animated movies, Madagascar 2 his favorite. Last week we took a 25-minute jog together, and it was so nice to have him to converse with. I'm not sure if he's planning on going again. He's SO good with Ashlyn too. He recently fed her a bottle and interacts with her by playing face games. Ashlyn just love him so, I can tell.
Ashlyn is as beautiful as ever! She's changing so fast, starting to use her hands more and sit up with us to support her. She makes a pretty solid effort at grabbing toys, and she put the first one in her mouth just the other day. Of course, she's full of smiles and really lights up when her daddy comes home from work. It's great to see how she's processing simple things like using her senses including touch and language as I feel like she tries so hard to mouth sounds. Overall, everyday is a new journey with her; it's such a delight to be able to spend this time with her. This week we will hopefully work out daycare for January as well.

I can't believe i forgot Matts birthday!! I have it written down everywhere too. Please tell him "Happy Birthday" from us! I love the pic of Lane and Ashlyn... adorable. If this week won't work to get together, next week for sure. Lets keep in touch!
