Ashlyn is 3 months!!

The other day I stumbled upon a syringe that I once used to feed Ashlyn formula in her first few days of life, and it was then that I realized that already 3 months have passed, 3 months of wonderful times in this journey of parenthood. My, has she changed and grown. Already wearing 6- (and fitting into some 9-month) clothes, she is wide awake most of the day and anxious for human interaction. Ashlyn enjoys holding toys--some she puts in her mouth--sitting upright--in between our legs for support--looking in mirrors, watching Lane play the Wii, etc. It's just amazing how much of a little person she has become. When frustrated, she tries so hard to talk to us... if only I could understand her language.

Lane marvels at how alert she is. He says, "She is so adorable" as I know he feels so much love for her. He gets to hold her often and is so patient when he wants to play ball or go somewhere when she needs to be fed. Lane definitely earns BIG BROTHER OF THE YEAR award!
